This After Action Review serves to assess the disaster simulation exercises conducted by Red A Humanitarian Global for the community in Karak and Kuantan. The concept of After Action Review was employed to identify strengths and weaknesses from the program, extract lessons to be learned, and improve communities’ preparedness. All of which serves in bringing about more impactful and meaningful intervention for different communities in future projects.
The report provides an in-depth review of the response actions taken during an actual disaster, done subsequently in order to identify gaps, lessons and best practices, which were simulated during the exercises.
